THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST: A SIMPLE GUIDE TO HAVING A RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
⭐ 1. God Created You for a Relationship With Him God made you on purpose.
He knows you, loves you, and wants a real relationship with you. But something stands in the way of that relationship…
⭐ 2. The Problem: Sin Separates Us From God Sin is choosing our own way instead of God’s way—lying, anger, pride, selfishness, impurity, disrespect, and more. This problem began with Adam and Eve. Their disobedience brought original sin into the world, and now everyone is born with a natural pull toward doing wrong. Romans 3:23 — “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We don’t become sinners because we sin—
we sin because we are sinners by nature. And sin creates a gap between us and a perfect, holy God.
⭐ 3. The Consequence of Sin Sin has a cost. Romans 6:23 — “The wages of sin is death…” This means physical death and spiritual separation from God—now and forever. We can’t fix this problem through good deeds or trying harder.
Only God can fix what separates us from Him. This is why we need a Savior.
⭐ 4. The Good News: Jesus Came to Save Us God loves you so much that He made a way back. Romans 5:8 — “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus lived perfectly and died in your place.
He took the punishment you earned.
Then He rose from the dead, proving His power over sin and death. This is the heart of the gospel:
Jesus saves us from sin so we can have a restored relationship with God.
⭐ 5. Salvation Is a Gift Romans 6:23 — “…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” A gift becomes yours only when you accept it. God offers forgiveness, freedom, and eternal life through Jesus.
⭐ 6. How to Respond: Admit. Believe. Call. A — Admit you’re a sinner Agree with God that you need forgiveness. B — Believe in Jesus Trust that He died and rose again for you. C — Call on Him Ask Him to forgive you, save you, and lead your life. Romans 10:9 — “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:13 — “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
⭐ 7. A Simple Prayer of Salvation These words aren’t magic — what matters is your heart. “God, I know I’m a sinner, and I know I can’t save myself. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again. I ask You to forgive me. I put my trust in Jesus alone. Come into my life and help me follow You. Thank You for saving me. Amen.” If you prayed this sincerely, you belong to God, and your relationship with Him begins now.
⭐ 8. What Comes Next in Your Walk With God
⭐ 9. Understand What Has Happened If you’ve trusted Jesus: • You’re forgiven
